On March 7, 2013, the Walton County Bar co-sponsored a CLE (continuing legal education) seminar with ICLE of Georgia entitled “Practical Considerations in Family, Probate and Criminal Matters.” Held in the Walton County Government Building, the CLE seminar was the first ever in Walton County.  Brian Glass, Chair of the Walton County Bar’s CLE Committee, presided, and Bar members Judge Ken Wynne, Marcy Hanks, Russell Preston and Stephen Noel were presenters.  Fifty-six attorneys attended the seminar, representing twelve counties.  According to Larry Jones, the Executive Director of ICLE, the attendance was “outstanding,” the faculty was “excellent,” and the program chair was a “true professional.”  Likewise, the attendees were impressed, giving an average rating of 4.7 (out of 5) as the overall assessment of the seminar, an average rating of 4.8 as to the excellence of the materials, and an average rating of between 4.6 and 4.9 to each of the presenters and the program chair.
